GALÁPAGOS ISLANDS – Since the 90’s, Pokémon has been a hot franchise, with millions of people fascinated by the world of Pokémon, but simultaneously sad because Pokémon do not actually exist in the real world… or do they?
A few days ago, a very interesting claim was made by a man while who said he saw a real life blastoise while visiting the galápagos islands earlier this week and even managed to capture a photo. Robbie Jensen was out discovering the natural beauty of the galapagos when he saw two giant tortoise’s mating. “The male turtled looked like nothing i had ever seen before, his head was very large, he has blue tinted skin and had two metal pipes coming out of his front side, just like blastoise from Pokémon, i thought i was dreaming i couldn’t believe it. According to Robbie, both tortoises did not see him, and he snapped a picture quickly and left. “I didn’t want them to see me, I was scared. I didn’t want to disturb him while he was making a squirtle, so i dipped” said Robbie. (See picture below)
Could this have been a real blastoise? did the water cannons work like they do in Pokémon? We will have to wait for researchers to jump on the task, until then, there’s hope that Pokémon really exist!
